Pro Fantasy Baseball 2006 Draft Report
Sleepers
2006 Fantasy Baseball Sleepers
Level A Sleepers  - These are either well-known, established fantasy players who are projected to do much better than their 2005 statistics or players who broke out last year and could be the new fantasy baseball studs. These players are expected to higher draft picks.
Level B Sleepers - They have shown potential in the past and this may be their year.
Level C Sleepers - These are either rookies or long shots that have no previous fantasy record but could start for your team and be star.

Potential - Just as the name implies. Potential to improve. The levels are for the type of sleeper, not their ratings or their potential. Most Level C Sleepers will have high potential numbers. The more established players usually have the least potential to grow, but they are not the least in value.

C Delmon Young- Devil Rays - The Devil Rays have been patient with their hot prospect. His potential to be a 30 HR -30 SB fantasy All-Star. The younger brother of Dmitri Young has a bright future even if it is not right way. OF 22 9.7
C Jason Kubel - Twins -With Jacque Jones gone he should have the first crack at starting right field. The left-hand hitting prospect missed the 2005 season with injury, but batted .352 in the minors the 2 years previous. OF 24 9.4
C Jeremy Hermida - Florida - With the Marlins cleaning house, he is almost a shoe-in to start. .293 - 4 HR's - 11 RBI's - 9 Runs - 2 SB's - 41 at bats. Milwaukee traded Lyle Overbay so their top prospect could start. He has speed and some pop in the bat. OF 22 9.6
C Matt Murton - Cubs - The Cubs have a new outfield and he should grab the left field starting slot. .321 - 7 HR's - 14 RBI's - 19 Runs - 140 at bats. Great start last year hitting on pace for about 28 home runs. OF 24 9.3
C Anthony Reyes - Cardinals - Top prospect dominated in Triple-A with a 4-1 K to Walk ratio. 1 Wins - 1 Loss - 2.70 ERA - 12 K's - 13.1 innings. Will have to fight for a spot in the rotation. Don't expect much until the second half. SP 24 9.3
C Francisco Liriano - Twins - Strong arm in the mold of Johan Santana. 1 Wins - 2 Losses - 5.70 ERA - 33 K's - 23.1 innings. Big strikeout pitcher but like Santana was early, could be a few years away. SP 24 9.3
