Shortstop
Prospects |
| Yuniesky
Betancourt
- Seattle:
The 25-year-old Cuban has
been heating up (10 for 25 & 9 RBI's).
He is now batting .274 with 3 HR's. Played
a full season in 2006. |
| Wilson
Betemit - Dodgers:
If he learns how to
hit left-handing pitching he will be an All-Star.
Smashed 18 home runs with 373 at bats and
a .263 average in a split Brave - Dodger 2006
season. Keep an eye him in spring training,
if his is starting against & hitting lefties,
draft him. Otherwise, he is a decent prospect
on the bench. |
| Brendan
Harris
- Tampa Bay: He is batting
.318 with 5 HR's w/179 at bats. He is playing
everday at shortstop.

Aaron Hill - Blue
Jays:
The 25-year-old 2003 13th overall pick
started much of the year and batted .291.
Unfortunately he had little else in fantasy
numbers to offer hitting just 5 HR's &
stealing 6 bases with 546 at bats. If he improves
his numbers he could be a find. Qualifies
as a SS as well. |
