He struggled in the Big's in 2009 batting just .241 with
9 home runs with 241 at bats, but the big-time prospect
batted .337 with 14 home runs in AAA Las Vegas. He has power
to all fields and a strong arm which will help him fight
for the right field spot against José Bautista. Snider
had some injury issues and that partly accounted for his
tough time with the Blue Jays, but at just 22 years of age
Snider just needs experience and we should see him improve
a ton in 2010.
Brennan Boesch
- Tigers
He has had a heck of a start batting .339 with three home
runs, two triples and nine doubles with 86 at bats. he is
starting every day now and could keep the job in a big-time
line-up.
Julio Burbon
- Rangers
Seeing his 2009 stats for the short time he played will
make you drool (.312, four home runs, 19 stolen bases with
157 at bats), but there are big questions namely will he
start? It is a crowded outfield, but if he continues to
play like he did in 2009, he will start somewhere.
Nolan Reimold
- Orioles
He was on his way to a great rookie season before he he
hit the DL with tendinitis in his left Achilles' tendon.
Reimold still finished with 15 home runs and 8 stolen bases
with 358 at bats. The improved Oriole offense should help
a healthy Reimold reach 25 to 30 home runs, 15 stolen bases
and a .290 batting average.
